Common questions
Can covered text be recovered or copied?
Edited pages are rendered into new page images and their original page objects are not written into those pages, so covered text is not retained as hidden text.
Does every page become an image?
No. Only pages containing a mask or added text are flattened. Untouched pages are copied natively.
Does PDF/TIFF redaction use credits?
No. The tool is free and the result can be downloaded without signing in.
